About Me
My name is Angie and I am married to Rob. We have been married for 10 yrs. I am a mother of 3 beautiful children. Taea who is 10, sassy as ever, Micah who is 4 busy man, and Jarek , heartbreaker who is 2.
This blog was created to share with you my experiences in life. My struggles of going through cancer with Micah, being a certified Zumba instructor, moving 2thousand miles away from our home, Down syndrome, the sudden loss of my mother, being a mother of 3 kids! Need I say more? Just life. There are so many trials and tribulations that we all have to go through. I am here to share my experiences so that I just might be able to help other people. I think there are so many reasons that we go through hard times. One and most importantly, to give Glory to God. Two, to help other people that are going through things that you have been through. Three, to teach you things about yourself, your friends, your family. Boy, do you learn a lot about people. I have met some really great people recently with all that we have been through with Micah. But, I feel I have lost friends also along this journey. Some people just can’t hang.
If you would like to catch up on what happened during Micah’s treatment until shortly there after you can read all about it at www.carepages.com page name “micahsfight“ You won’t believe what you read! Don’t forget you will need to register.
Recently, we moved to South Dakota from St Petersburg, FL. We ran a motel (and lived there) until Sept. 1st. Thank God that is over! I tell you if that isn’t humbling yourself I don’t know what is!
I also am a Certified Zumba instructor. Check out my other site to read all about my Zumba journey! www.blackhillszumba.com
Life is crazy but I find this blog a great place to vent, to update and to just say what’s on my mind. So If I offend you I am sorry but this is just me.

Hello, i happened upon your site/blog doing a google search for inclusion. I was very encouraged by your home page and a blog about your son being such a blessing when one is in his presence, I echo that sentiment because my oldest Elena has Down Syndrome also. She is almost 10 and will be undergoing her second open heart surgery. She is such a blessing as well.
I have to run because I have to pick up my 7 yr old son from school. I’m a mom to four – my youngest are 4 yr old twins. You’re a blessing & I’d like to visit again. Have a nice day.

Hi Angie!
My name is Lauren Saltzburg & I am the Director of a newly founded Non-Profit Organization called Gloves for Love, “Knocking Out Pediatric Cancer.” I was searching around the Web recently, & came across your site you have created regarding your son, Micah . Inspiring story! I am writing to you because currently we are creating a website for our Foundation & want to really personalize it to reach more people and to allow them to actually see those they are helping when they support our cause. I am writing to see if you would be willing to share your family’s and Micah’s story on our website and any pictures you feel would inspire others. I was thinking I could also paste a link that then directly connects you back to your page as well, where people would likely venture after reading your story on our website.
I just wanted to initially contact you to see how you would feel about this. Please feel free to respond with any questions, concerns, comments, etc. I would love to be able to forge a new relationship with you and your family & further our cause, honoring your son along the way. Let me know how you feel about this & any other questions you may have!
Thanks so much!!
